The output of cult-favourite hypnotic techno label A Sacred Geometry was very considered, with the label only racking up seven releases over eight years. This e.p. from affiliate Hierarchy was their last output on vinyl and really does personify what the label was all about - deep tribal rhythms and textured, layered techno.

Doesn't get much better from me from a hypnotic / tribal techno perspective. I started following 'A Sacred Geometry' since their first release on their eponymous label back in 2015, with the Italian duo contributing considerably to Italy's notoriety of producing some of the best deep and hypnotic techno since the turn of the century (alongside peers Claudio PRC, Ness, Luigi Tozzi etc).

For their final two vinyl offerings, they called up label affiliate Hierarchy, who followed up 'Matter / Space / Void' with the e.p. 'Oblique / Haze / Veio'.

This sound for me is synonymous of the deep / hypnotic techno sounds that were coming out of (predominantly) Italy and Sweden throughout the early 2010s, perfect for long, layered DJ sets. In my opinion, this label certainly paved the way for more modern imprints, such as Danza Nativa and Primitive Tribe.
